I graduated from Manatee Technical College in June of 2018. What attracted me to Cutting Loose was taking that first step inside the salon and seeing how much fun and happiness I saw. The environment was overflowing with positive energy and I instantly fell in love. Also, education was a top priority on my list when hunting for a salon to call home. I saw all the top classes they had to offer and I knew that was for me.

What part of hairdressing do you love most?
What I love about the hair industry is that it’s constantly changing, from cuts to color to style! There is nothing boring about hair. It’s amazing how a simple cut or even a blowout can give someone so much confidence and that’s what I love to see. My favorite thing to do is blonding. I love creating that beautiful sun-kissed highlight around the face. It makes me so happy!
What about the industry that fuels you?
What fuels me about this industry is education. Because everything is constantly changing, learning how to incorporate new styles gives a great outcome.
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m the middle child of 6!
What do you love to do in your spare time?
When I’m not in the salon, I dedicate my time to my two-month-old baby boy. I love seeing him reach his milestones! Seeing how smart he is and how fast he is growing makes my heart happy.
What are your top achievements as a hairstylist?
My top achievement as a stylist is being promoted to stylist here at Cutting Loose. Graduating from Protégé was a goal for me this year – but we aren’t stopping here!
