Hi there, I’m Cynthia Henke and I’ve always loved to do my own hair and my friends’ hair since I was young! I went to school at Monterey Bay Beauty College in Seaside California. I moved to Florida from Missouri where I owned my own salon. My Husband is prior Army so I’ve lived and done hair in California, Hawaii, Texas, Missouri and now Florida!

What part of hairdressing do you love most?

I love that as a hairstylist I get to be creative and make people feel good about themselves. I thrive at being able to make an impact for the better in someone’s life.

What about the industry that fuels you?

What really fuels me about this industry is that Hair is always evolving and the opportunity to grow and learn is ever-present.

What is a fun fact about you?

In my spare time, I love to walk. I try to walk a few miles a day whenever possible.

What do you love to do in your spare time?

Since moving to Florida I love to get to the beach with my 2 teenagers and my husband.

What are your top achievements as a hairstylist?

My top achievement as a hairstylist has been the ability to work all over the country and be exposed to regional diversity. I love the relationships I have formed along the way with both my guests and fellow stylists.
