Every transformation tells a story and this one was a journey of artistry,
patience, and true color correction mastery.
When Ty Nightingale began working with his model, she had a rich level five
Auburn a beautiful color, but one that no longer reflected her natural beauty
or evolving style. Her goal? To transition gracefully and confidently to her
natural salt and pepper.

This wasn’t a one-step makeover. It took multiple sessions, each carefully
planned to protect the integrity of her hair while gently removing the warm
tones and artificial pigment that had built up over time. Ty strategically
softened the Auburn and began blending in cooler tones to mimic her natural
grow-out while minimizing harsh lines of demarcation.
By the time we were live on the show, she had about four inches of her
natural color coming through. The rest of her hair still showed some of the
previous corrective work a visual reminder of how far she’d come and how
thoughtfully this process was handled.

To keep her new color looking luminous and polished, Ty incorporated
Silverado by Oribe into her maintenance routine. This violet-based treatment
is perfect for neutralizing brassiness and enhancing the cool tones in silver,
gray, or salt and pepper hair making it the ideal finishing touch for this
transformation.
This was more than just a color change. It was about embracing authenticity,
honoring the natural aging process, and using expert techniques and luxury
care to make that journey look and feel amazing.
